episode 4: KOL

so yesterday 3 of us went parra. i have no idea why or how we got so tired but we did.

me and marinasan got there at 9 to buy jess a present, and we bought her this teddy bear from myer LOL. when jess was about to open it we told her it was feisty lingerie. i think she was a tad disappointed it wasn't LOL. this was at borders, and we had to sit in the kids area cuz there wasnt a table for old ppl. so there we were sitting on chairs too small for us and marina picks up a wall-e book. and it has buttons that make noises.

BAHAHHAHAHA

one of the noises was like a gun shooting so we were shooting each other with it. yep that's how we roll. LOL. we then watched step brothers. hilarious. yet disgusting. luckily tickets were only 10 bux because it was tuesday!! woot!!

after the movie we went to max brenners (gahhh) and jess ordered a chocolate souffle. the first thing she said was "it's tiny" and considering she paid almost 10 bux for it the souffle seemed like a rip off. but let me tell you. it was delicious!! so thick and creamy and when the centre was reached chocolte came oozing out of it. gahhhh and my hot chocolate. it was in a mug that looked like an egg and then it was like dark chocolate in a cup. yuum

then we went to the bathroom but stopped at a music store because marina wanted a band tee. but what i found was the KINGS OF LEON album, ONLY BY THE NIGHT. when i opened the paper cover thingy there was a pic of JARED the cutest king. gahhh

that night as we went home i listened to them in the car and my mum was like WHAT? what is this?! LOL. and that night as i sewed a dress i listened to it and fell in love. my faves so far are "use somebody", "manhattan", "sex on fire", "17", and "revelry". i owe my mother $25 but it was totally worth it. it's been the first CD i've bought in almost 5 years and let me tell you it's probably the best one in my collection.

and last night i couldn't stop listening to it. i eventually fell asleep to it and that is what i like with music. it has to be upbeat, but so awesome that i can fall asleep to it. when i have music like that it's when i've truly fallen in love with the sound. and this morning i played it again. i can wake up to KOL and fall asleep to them as well. seriously one of my top 3 bands ever.

and yeh pretty excited for saturday night already!! i think im gnna see a mate's band and yeh they're pretty awesome. plus apparently other local indie bands playing that night so should be awesome. check out the band at myspace.com/archersaus
